Description
This fine mesh strainer is made by one of the famous Japanese kitchenware brands; Shimomura, and is designed to strain foods effortlessly. With this tool, you can make a smooth-textured soup or sauce.
The mesh has a conical shape and is coarser than ordinary strainers, which allows food to pass through the mesh efficiently. By mashing the food inside with a wooden pestle, you can strain it and make it smoother.
It is made of stainless steel and has excellent hardness: when the manufacturer places a 3kg brick on their mesh and normal mesh for product testing, it does not smash.
On top of these features, this strainer has a sturdy handle and two prongs on the edge of the mesh, so you can rest them on the bowl and strain foods with a single hand. It is also a dishwasher-safe strainer.
This product is made by skilled engineers in Tsubame-sanjyo: a city in Niigata Prefecture that is globally known for its craftsmanship of metalware.
